Der Chianti Classico DOCG Castello dei Rampolla wird aus 90% Sangiovese, 8% Canaiolo, 2% Trebbiano und Malvasia nicht unweit von Panzano gekeltert. im Glas präsentiert er sich in einer dunklen rubinroten Farbe, die an Granatrot grenzt. Das Bukett ist intensiv und vielschichtig, nach dunklen Früchten, Brombeerkonfitüre, reife Waldfrüchte, durchzogen von Lavendel, balsamischen Noten, Leder und Sandelholz. Am Gaumen warm, weich und vollmundig. Mit vibrierendem Körper und angenehmer Frische. Die Tannine seidig und weich, der Abgang fruchtig und sehr lang. Ein großer Chianti Classico mit gutem Preis!
