Grappa Barrique Mair Mair is our refined grappa cuvée, matured for over 24 months in medium-toasted French barriques. Around 4,000 bottles are currently produced each year. Elegant, soft, gently spiced and exceptionally mild, with a long finish.
Mair Mair Grappa Barrique: tasting notes
In the glass, this barrel-aged grappa has a golden amber hue with a refined sheen. It is balanced and expressive, with characteristic notes of fresh woodland berries, delicate spice from French oak, and subtle hints of vanilla, chocolate, tobacco and smoke. Full-bodied and layered, it feels rounded and generous on the palate, with a soft, mild finish.
