Der Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC La Val dei Preti, dieser großartige reinsortige Nebbiolo von Matteo Correggia, wird 18 Monate im Barrique ausgebaut. Im Glas erscheint er in äußerst intensivem Rubinrot. Das Bukett ist ausgewogen und harmonisch, mit Aromen von reifen dunklen Früchten, Gewürzen und Vanillenoten. Am Gaumen muskulös, trocken, vollmundig. Weich, mit feinen Tanninen und einem Unterton von Konfitüre. Der Correggia La Val dei Preti ist Nebbiolo von interessanter Intensität, sehr gut zu gefüllten Nudelgerichten, Brathähnchen, Wildschwein, Pecorino und Parmesan.
