Der Percarlo ist ein Kultwein aus der Toskana. Dieses Urgestein unter den lokalen Topweinen besteht zu 100% aus der traditionellen Toskanischen Traube, dem Sangiovese. Sehr alte Rebstöcke (max. 1 kg pro pflanze) deren Trauben spät und hochreif gelesen werden geben dem Wein eine mächtige Struktur. Der Ausbau erfolgt 20-22 Monate im Barrique und 12 Monate in der Flasche.
